What has been your journey to becoming a confident woman?

My journey to becoming a confident woman has been quite an interesting one. Growing up I was always insecure about my looks or my weight and that even led into my older teenage years. It wasn't until the middle of my college career that my sorority sister helped bring out my confidence. Even tho I was insecure I had always had some sort of confidence..but she boosted it all the way up. As I grew older I just knew who I was as a woman and an individual. Knowing who I was helped me sustain the confidence that I have now.

What advice do you have for other women?

Advice for other women struggling with their confidence level would be to only focus on yourself, be the best you that you can possibly be. Also, don't get too side tracked and worry about what everyone else is doing..stay the course. Lastly, remember that you are all that and a bag of chips!

What are some challenges you face in trying to be confident?

Some challenges that I face on remaining confident is sometimes being focused on what everyone else is doing and their accomplishments and comparing it to my own. We are our worst critic..and I can only be worried about myself and what I'm doing. Every now and then I find myself getting too engaged in social media and questioning my confident level...then I look in the mirror and remember who the Heck I am!
